Hello Everyone, I am a new member to the IBM-Main List.Am a mainframes sysprog . I'm trying to run the REPTPROC job with only phase 1 (out of the three phases 1,2 and 3)and all other steps included in the job.
The view direct successfully picks up the report from the spool, initializes the compressed page work file but fails to create an archive with a U0666 abend. The following messages are produced in the INRPT11 report for procstep REPTPROC: 0001I-STARTING CONTROL NUMBER: 00000003 0092I-"INCLUDE ALL" REPORTS MODE 0017I-USER EDITORS: **NONE** & **NONE** 0111I-READING JOB: INFORDSB 0000370 A 0100I-REPORT ID "FORCED" 0097I-REPORT SELECTED 0019I-COMPRESSED PAGE FILE INITIALIZED 0250E-ARCHIVE CREATION FAILURE 9998E-22 S 0020 0000 INARCH01 0805I-PAGES PROCESSED........: 00000004 Seems like the error is with the VSAM report model dataset as no IDCAMS IDC3009I messages are produced in the job output.The report model dataset which is a VSAM ESDS dataset contain the parameters necessary to successfully define report and topic archive datasets. A valid report -model-type of 2 was specified. However, I'm not able to find out what exactly needs to be fixed with the report model dataset. Can someone share his/her experience if faced/overcame such an issue?
