I've looked through the ViewDirect manuals, but I find them almost
useless. What I am looking for is a batch interface to the
administration functions. This is to help automate the administration of
users (add, delete, change). Has anybody done this?

It has to be one of the worst organized manuals I've run across. If you're
looking at the CD-ROM you want the section Database Maintenance. Since
you're adding users, Recipient Table is what you'll be interested

Thanks. One thing that I did find, and hate, is that you must delete
every report from a recepient before you can delete the recepient.
Wonderful. That makes it so easy to automate deletion of recepients
If you repro your INVERS and INDIST files to seq, you can read through
those and build your control cards. I've done that in the past with
Easytrieve to build recall cards.
