Another option is to use IDCAMS PRINT with DUMP and then look at the output.

VSAM LDS clusters are NOT supported by DFSORT.  However, if your shop has 
File-Manager, then you use the following the job.

//STEP0100 EXEC PGM=FILEMGR
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//DDIN     DD DISP=SHR,DSN=Your.Input.LDS.Cluster
//DDOUT    DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN    DD *
$$FILEM DSC INPUT=DDIN,
$$FILEM PROC=*
*REXXPROC
IF FLD_CO(,,,'MBC$23005X') THEN WRITE(DDOUT)
