GM Listers,
I want to obtain the WWPN of all PCHIDS on a processor and want to know
what would be the fastest/easiest way to do that.
The objective here is to do kind of an audit of what's connected to where
for a new configuration and cross check it with intended HW configuration.

Hi List,
I know this topic has been discussed multiple times, and with the recent
SOD on JES3, I am looking for some hands-on tips or experiences from anyone
who has had the chance of converting from JES3 to JES2.
Can anyone share their experience on what are the most troublesome areas to
be
Hi Andrew,
With regards to the tailor fit pricing you mentioned in your response to
the original question, is this something that will exist along with the
existing 4HRA mechanism (at least for sometime) for charging to the
customers, or would it be mandatory for customers to move towards this?
Thankyou all for your inputs. The colleague managed to find a more recent
version of the IODF from another plex where it was shared and was able to
confirm that it has all the right information.

A colleague has run into an issue where the VOLUME where the IODF resided
has been "reclaimed" from another shared system with no recent available
backups of IODF available to restore.
They have a very old backup version from which he would be recovering the
IODF but is not sure how to get it
Thankyou Lizette. I'll keep an eye on this APAR.
Meanwhile, I opened a pmr with L2 to find out any other clues. They
suggested me to check if we have any exits installed for user profile table
(which I doubt, but I am not sure, I'll have to ask around from someone on
this site - is there a way to
Nope. we have RACF. btw, I couldn't open the link you posted.

Hi List,
I am trying to define an alias pointing to a non-VSAM dataset. Such as

Is this possible?
I tried following IDCAMS control statements but they failed with the

Hi All,
I have been trying the REFER Back statement in JCL to take multiple backups
on a 3592 tape using a JCL such as below. However, for some reason this
doesn't seem to be working.
//STEP1EXEC PGM=ADRDSSU
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//DASD1DD UNIT=3390,VOL=SER=RSDV01,DISP=SHR
//TAPE1DD
I think the previous post didn't work due to incorrect email. Trying it
again on another email. Sorry if it gets posted twice!
