Would anyone be happy to send me a batch RMF report?
I am doing some basic z/OS performance education and I only have a z/OS
running on a zPDT system, so not very realistic, and is missing technology
such as CF.
The education level will be, for example

   1. CPU
      1. check LPAR BUSY is similar to MVS BUSY
      2. Checky your CPUs are not 100%
   2. DASD
      1. Check IOSQ is small
      2. Check device utilisation is small
      3. Check response time is under 1 ms.
   3. CF
   1. check subhannels
      2. check sync/async ratios

The aim is if the initial checks indicate a possible problem - go and talk
to someone. I worked on many a problem where they were short of CPU, or
they backed up disks during the day. We fixed these and the problems went
away

I am interested in reports for a busy period containing

   1. CPU GP+ ZIIPs
   2. z Hyperlink - synchronous I/O activity
   3. CF - duplex and simplex
   4. DASD using Hyperwrite (one media manager request goes to 2 storage
controller rather than the local storage controller passing it on to the
   remove storage controller)

If there is a document or guide which has this kindergarden level of z/OS
performance, I would love to hear about it.

If you could send it to me privately that would be great. I would
anonymize all data if needed.

thank you
Colin
