Hello Listers, my customer is sunsetting a 9221-200 with a
bank of 9343's emulating 20 3390's. I can think of 3 ways
to erase the data from the DASDs:
1) using ICKDSF to TRKFMT them with ERASEDATA parameter;
(yeah... very time consuming and CPOWN packs - 4 of them -
will be using standalone

I guess it is VM's support for the Network Station, an IBM attempt to
provide a cheap thin client to as opposed to PCs.
The PTF dates match: in 1998 I was part of the Java and NetRexx VM
Redbook team (SG24-5148) and we used a Network Station as terminal.

IBM is trying to limit attendance, there may be limitations on who can
attend (perhaps only managers, for example) so they may not be able to
