Another tool you might want to take a look at is FCOPY. FCOPY is simila r to VMARC and both of them allow you to add files to an existing archive. The nice thing about FCOPY is it has filelist type of interface so you can see the files in a packlib and even xedit them directly from it.

OK, I seem to have made a breakthrough. I had an error in the defaultne t on level 2 (had changed an IP address midsream) and that allowed me to pi ng the 192.168.1.221 address on level 1. Then I put on my network guy hat a nd made a change in our lan router and that lets me ping between my lan
