Now I'm (more than ever) confused. I just tried a test, running a looping user with FControl LImit NORMLCPU. RTM showed the system as running at 100% but CPU Pct Busy only reflected the amount of CPU time that the lpar actually got as a percent of the total time of the complex. If I had toggled back and forth between FC LI NORMLCPU and FC LI NORMCPU, what would I have seen?

--- Begin Message --- It appears that, when running in an lpar on a processor with other active lpars, the cpu utilization that is reported represents the utilization of the lpar for the amount of time the lpar is dispatched if FControl LImit NORMLCPU is in effect. If FControl LImit NORMCPU is in effect for a VM system running as above, the cpu utilization reported is the % utilization for the entire complex. It also appears that the RTM %CPU numbers match what PTK reports when FControl LImit NORMLCPU is en effect.
Am I correct?
