We have a group of users, running critical tests, that experienced erratic
response during a period when SFS was taking a Control Data Backup and LUWs
were suspended. These users all access the same directory R/O. The directory is
DIRC. The question is, will assigning this directory to a
I would suspect there is good reason to believe it will help,
but I'll throw in some dependencies. Typically, a separate
SFS server is used for DIRC dataspace directories than the
normal R/W server. A file pool server for R/O dataspaces tends
to have far fewer (and quicker) control data backups.
