I can't help but toss in two cents here... Back many years ago when I worked up at IBM Boulder we had an edict to install VTAM access to our VM system so all the sales people around the country could get PROFS. There was no GCS at the time, and the whole VS/1, VTAM, VSCS thing was a mess,
