i am preparing to install RSU tapes on a second level VM system.
this is our 'as shipped' zVM 4.4 system.
i am attempting to make a backup before i start installing service
but when i create a DDRXA tape and ipl it, then attempt to backup
440RES, 440W01, and 440W02 i get an error:

You can, but you'll be backing up a live system. If you have to restore
it, it will go through spool recovery. Your choice. If you can, I
would shut it down, back it up, then bring it back up. It shouldn't
take that much longer.

Your second level MAINT should already know them as 123, 124 and 125.
Use Q V 123-125 to make sure.

yes, maint has them as 123, 124, and 125.
