i've only started won on the technology slightly less than 40yrs ago; last
week in jan68, three people from the science center had come out and
installed cp67 at the univ.

for other recent folklore thread ... this is series of posts of the precursor to
DCSS work; that was converted from cp67 to vm370 ... but only a small
subset was released (as part of DCSS) ... many of the features being
eliminated (from DCSS product release), including location independent
code (shared segments).
