A little while ago, an orange 'find bar' started appearing just below every window on our HMC. We tried clicking on the 'X' on the left to make it go away, and this works, once, on the first window we try it on. But the find bar keeps coming back, and we can't get it to go away. It is a major nuisance since it will prevent HMC logon, or other data entry, unless you know a little trick to get around it.
Can anyone tell me how to permanently get rid of this pain in the rear?
