I have to confess, I thought it was pretty wierd. I also was a little
afraid of what they might have done to cause the horse to jump like that -

In hunters, that would be considered a SERIOUS fault. Even over-jumping by
an extra few inches can be considered "over jumping" and that is considered
unnecessary risk for injury as well as using unnecessary energy.
