Hi, I am posting today to update you on the development MapMuse.com's nationwide mapping of equestrian centers, and tack shops, and to ask for your input.
About one year ago, Mapmuse.com began a project- the interactive mapping of stables and equestrian centers across the US. A few months later, we added tack shops at the request of a visitor. We initially researched and populated these maps ourselves, with the idea in mind that equestrian enthusiasts would subsequently add to, and enhance, the information we provided. We mapped each stable or tack shop, and provided space for a written description, photo, and link to a website. Since this project was started, the public has made hundreds of additions and enhancements to these maps. We now have one of the most comprehensive databases of stables and equestrian centers in the US. If you were one of our contributors, we'd like to thank you for your help! I'm writing today to ask that if you know of any stables, equestrian centers or tack shops that have opened or closed in the last year, that you make those changes to the maps. Also, we would very much appreciate it if you added any places that we are still missing. In this way, we hope to keep the maps current and useful for everyone. This service is free.
