Oh boy, I can relate to this Wanda! I have one (Icelandic gelding) that
somehow manages to figure out how to get out when he is allowed to be in the
pasture with the other horses too. The other horses don't get out with him and
we have not yet figured out where it is that he gets out.

Oh boy! Thanks for penning Peppy up, Wanda. Our adult children still remember
the name of a childhood friend's horse that was struck and killed by a car when
they were youngsters. It's an awful thing to have happen. And in some areas
you might actually be liable for damage to the vehicle.
So...he's in jail while we determine what the best course of action is.

Yikes! Scary ...for sure! Hope you have horse liability insurance
in place. That little butthead! Good luck in figuring out how to keep
