Well done Janice. I don't know that I would have been so strong and
that scares me. Recognising that you made a mistake. Taking the time
for horse and humans to calm down and get back in the thinking zone.
Not allowing the situation to escalate no matter how well meaning.
Putting the mistake right for everyones sake. That's horsemanship to
me.It isn't always about doing things perfectly each time. That isn't
possible even by people who proffess to be the best.
We are all clueless when it comes to situations about which we have no
experience. Then we draw on our learning and create a strategy that
works in that situation for that horse handler combination.
