But only for T-Mobile and AT&T customers
Already having offered the application for iPhone, iTouch and on Blackberry phones, Vonage has now released their Vonage application for Android users on AT&T and T-Mobile. According to a press release, the application should already be available in the Android market. Vonage is doling out the following statement to any press outlet that asks why the application is on AT&T and T-Mobile, but not CDMA-using Sprint or Verizon: We cannot specifically address a timeline for adding these additional platforms but we will continue to expand our offerings in 2010 to include a robust set of voice and messaging services that utilize Wi-Fi and 3G wireless networks. We chose to focus on the GSM portion of the Android market first because GSM is the most popular standard for mobile telephone systems in the world. http://www.dslreports.com/shownews/Vonage-VoIP-App-Comes-To-Android-107859?nocomment=1 -- Salam, Agus Hamonangan http://groups.google.com/group/id-android Gtalk : agus.hamonangan Tweet :@agushamonangan Japri : id.andr...@gmail.com -- "Indonesian Android Community [id-android]" Join: http://groups.google.com/group/id-android/subscribe?hl=en-GB Moderator: id.andr...@gmail.com ID Android Developer: http://groups.google.com/group/id-android-dev ID Android Surabaya: http://groups.google.com/group/id-android-sby ID Android on FB: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=112207700729 To unsubscribe, reply using "remove me" as the subject.
