well for me. Since I have an older machine I had to upgrade my perl and
that seemed to create some problems for me later, but I might need to spend
more time on it/start over. Anyway, let me know if anyone wants me to test
anything.

Hi Jingyuan,
You can save any plot that you make under Plot>Save last plot as...
You can also export your data to be graphed in whatever other program you
choose. Bruce specifically goes over this in the Athena document:

It's a little hard to tell what you did and in what order. When you
activated Macports and then installed athena did you type something like 'sudo
port install xorg-server athena'? Is that when you first came across the
library duplicate? When you tried to run athena, what error did yo

I'm not a pro here but, have you installed xorg-server? It seems like your
$DISPLAY variables are not being set correctly. The problem might be
XQuartz. The demeter build from Macports doesn't know to use that X windows
server (everything is installed in different places) a
