spreading awareness of free software among people. This year too we
can focus more on this and can we add up something more along with the

Thanks. I solved the problem by manually editing the
javasettings_Linux_x86.xml in the ~/.openoffice.org2/user/config folder. Now
its working fine.

I have openoffice 2.4
I have installed sun jdk 1.5_16 which works well for all java applications
that i run,
including eclipse 3.4,JSymphonic for sony walkman, tomcat etc etc.
But open office is not detecting the installed JVM. It says the folder
doesnt contain any JVM.
Any pointers?
