I think Windows doesn't notice about the h/w change (else would have loaded
generic drivers) and loads set of drivers which was compatible with your H/w

Whats your autoconf version ? autconf --version should give you that. It seems
pretty self explanatory. Maybe you should upgrade your autoconf :-?
