This months meeting will be on August 14th. Following is the tentative
agenda.
1) Software Freedom Day is approaching. Only 40 days to go for it. There is
_zero_ planning done until now. We have to kick start it.

Plz anyone help me out of this. I am using Ubuntu Lucid Lynx. I
tried to download some packages and it didnot install correctly. So,
everytime i tried to login, i got a pop up window saying Gnome Power
Manager not installed correctly, please contact administrator. I tried

Don't using vlc from the repo, but download the tarball. When compiling pass
the *--enable-run-as-root* flag to *./configure* and vlc should be able to
run as root. I got this from a mailing list.
