hi right now i am on Saral's pc in which ubuntu 8.10 is the OS the problem is the PC is not mounting any dvd's automatically. we have to use the command: *sudo mount /dev/scd1 /media/cdrom0* but it takes a lot of time to mount while doing this ( more than 5 minutes) the contents of /etc/fstab is
