< Bus 007 Device 002: ID 04f2:b083 Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd > This is the webcam I can see see on your system, you could use "cheese" to configure it. There are 2 ways to install this: 1. Go to Applications > Add/Remove then in top center box change to "all open source applications" then search for "cheese" and then install or go to Applications > Accessories > terminal and type sudo apt-get install cheese After installation, "cheese" will then be found in Applications>Graphics>cheese webcam booth By default, it will identify your webcam. You can also change it yourself from Edit>Preferences tabs Source <http://ubuntu-virginia.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1104307> -- Joju Joshua --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ "Freedom is the only law".
