i faced ur same situation when i started using linux.. i had a dialup modem which only worked in windows.. i used to download .deb packages using my dialup modem from windows which i kept as a dual boot.. then it would show some dependency.. again i will download that n again one more dependency

vyshakh, do u have an internet connection at home.. can u connect to the internet from linux.. even if u can't connect to internet from linux but has access to a pc that can connect to the internet then u can update and install softwares on linux.. no command lines n compiling.. goto.. https://
