ur using a laptop or pc?
in my laptop i am having this issue.
i am using ubuntu.
i tried lot of things but no use.
looks like i will have to buy windows.

may not be a perfect solution. but at least its not hanging the laptop.
i was so angry with not viewing video.
was thinking to buy windows(another 10K?)

PC with Intel Desktop board.

There are other options - vlc, totem(this worked for me)
