It is always
better to go for fixed line Broadband than data-card broadband if you
can.
I went for it because I wanted mobility. I was comfortably using it at Erode
when I went there. I have a laptop and mobile broadband suits me best.

fixed broadband is on the blink, or not available, then out comes the
data card.

I have tataindicom and bsnl 3g - both work perfectly with fedora and
mandriva and opensuse. Only thing is that when there is no 3G (like in
Erode where bsnl only has 2G), I have not been able to get the 3G
datacard to shift to the hybrid
