Hi Arun Khan,
The client OS is Windows 7 64bit Professional. I selected Samba package
during the Ubuntu server installation. I think samba 3.6.3 is the version
comes up with Ubuntu 12.04. Anyway I am going to install Samba 4. Thank you
very much for your suggestion.

Hi,
Thanks for the response. When I try to access the share from a domain PC it
asks for username and password.And its not accepting domain username and
password.
