Try loging in to the 2 gmail accounts using two different browsers e.g
FF and Epiphany.

keep some sites open on FF and some on Epiphany

In the last 10 days or so, i am facing this problem.
- when in gmail, after I open 4 or 5 mails, the firefox stops responding
- even logging out does not work
