yes sata is supported in 2.6 kernel. the problem was in the grub

see what at does is that it hands over the scheduled job to the atd (at
deamon) and the process is scheduled to run even after you have logged off,
so the deal is that most probably atd is the parent process that runs the
scheduled job and thus I dont think that you can get its PID

So, is there any means to mount as ISO image directly from the ftp site and download
selected files out of it.
I tried a lot on google, the only option I found WebDrive for windows, but that didn't
