ISDN Modem model is Eicon Diva 852 ISDN T/A.
I have no knowledge of how to configure PPP on Linux. I have connected
the Modem to the serial port of the Computer, but it is not detecting

Nagios Configuration Problem
The follwoing is the command defination in file checkcommands.cfg ::

Note the --ssl entry above in command_line.
But still it's showing

USB port. The modem make was identified by Linux.

dial etc. How to use wvdial?

for dialing through wvdial
the command is
wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf
It would create a file wvdial.conf in /etc detecting ur modem accordingly there just u
have to specify username telephone number and password.
