Hi all,
Sometimes when i download rpm, it shows 'for i686' or
'for i386'.
On my machine(FC2),i got
i686 (uname -m : machine h/w name)
i686 (uname -p : processor type)
i386 (uname -i : h/w platform)
so which type of rpm should i download?
if possible please describe what they indicates.

It might be silly..but i have one curiosity to know one thing.
If suppose someone boots a Linux box in single user mode and then wants to
boot the system in 3rd runlevel but with a different kernel image (grub.conf
have two kernels entry say). i mean without rebooting user
Look up the Apache Mono Project at www.mono-project.com. You would be
able to run basic ASP.NET pages on Apache (via XSP) using the module
mod_mono.
However this still limits functionality as all functions and classes
cannot be called.
