Hi all, Sometimes when i download rpm, it shows 'for i686' or 'for i386'. On my machine(FC2),i got i686 (uname -m : machine h/w name) i686 (uname -p : processor type) i386 (uname -i : h/w platform) so which type of rpm should i download? if possible please describe what they indicates. thanks
