Dear All, Please help me My squid uses 98 % CPU and my swap space is not getting utilized at all; My RAM is of 256 MB, while booting it shows me 256 MB but in linux it just shows me 128 MB One month back I have changed my RAM from 128 MB to 256 MB I am attaching my system log using TOP command

Hi, I think that the two are totally unrelated. Squid using 98% CPU has got nothing to do with your swap not getting used or linux not reporting 256MB RAM. The thread will unnecessarily meander off into *how-to -increase-RAM-on-Linux* instead of *How-do-I-troubleshoot-Squid-hoggin-my-CPU*
