If you wish to convey greetings and all that to your loved ones, friends and frequent flamers, please DO NOT send to the mailing list. I personally find the idea of sending a single impersonal greeting e-mail to hundreds (or thousands) of people rather spam-ish, and it doesn't add any value at all
