Hi Aj, I have been using Mandrake 9.1 for a couple of months now and have not faced any such problems with it. I am guessing that there is something wrong with your installation of 9.1 or the source (the Digit DVD) had packed in some corrupted files maybe. I think you should try to reinstall 9.
