[ilugd] Internet connection

We have recently bought a new computer and started working on PCQlinux. It 
is working fine. We have a DSL connection from touchtel which we want to 
configure for the new computer.

The DSL executive on phone tells me that the DSL connection I have cannot be 
used for linux operating system. Can anyone help me out or tell me about the 
connection to use for linux. I am situated in Gurgaon.
