hey,
i have windows xp on my SATA drive...cant seem to load linux on it.
so what i did was that i borrowed an ide drive(4 freaking gb)on which i ve installed 
red hat 9.

 i am okay with linux on this hard drive but i do need it it to see 
the SATA drive because you know 4 gb is an insult for all purposes.
so anybody worked a kernel patch for making linux see the sata drive
need that only for storage purposes
