i wish to do some work on control of receivers using linux using the serial/usb port
to automate the process of frequency scan, occupancy records of active freqs and

as regards the recompilation of kernel on an HCL server with scsi support for four
drives and the works the bootup message says abnormally exiting /sbin/innsmod
...
but X does start up finally..
is there some way of finding out which module that loaded up created the problem

did all that was required to recompile the kernel.
