Hi, Srijan's 'Products Group' is engaged with building products to be deployed as hosted solutions and building large-sized web-applications for a few customers. Most of these solutions are built using open source technologies (such as Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, PHP/Symfony) with use of proprietary systems, like Adobe Flex, for front-end deployment using technologies.
With potentially more customers coming on board with specific product-prototyping requests, we are looking for a 'Product Manager', who can take ownership of the product. Role ------- - own the delivery of the Product - gathering requirements from all stake holders (Visual Designer, Customer) - making sense of requirements for the tech team (write User Stories) - sign-offs during all stages of the project - maintain sanctity of Agreements by following processes agreed upon - delegation of tasks to Tech Manager and Tech team - ensure timeliness of deliveries - manage changes in specs Requirements -------------------- - experience of having managed 3-5 people teams - experience of having delivered 3-5 large web projects -> portals / web-applications / intranet/ public facing database-driven websites - preferred exposure to mobile apps - good knowledge of Agile development practices - good English communication skills - good team management skills - preferably be hands-on in development/coding on some open source technologies or frameworks - preferred exposure to Mingle for managing User Stories, Iterations and Releases (http://studios.thoughtworks.com/mingle-project-intelligence) The Product Manager may be required to manage more than one product at a time. Remuneration -------------------- We hope to find someone good in the range of Rs.6,00,000/-.
