Berry Pluto Press, 2008 On page 15, the author writes " In contrast, software that is sold or distributed with the source code, which provides no restrictions on further copying and modification, is known as free software or open source. Richard Stallman19 argues that unless software is supplied with the source code then it should not be considered software at all – if it’s not source, it’s not software (Stallman, 2004)."
