Hi! all, So we had another fun filled ilugd (informal) meet yesterday, sunday feb 20th 2005.
Meeting started with host missing from his own house. This time we had a visitor from London named Mr. David heath. David showed us pictures from Asia source. When Raj arrived we started with drag 'n' drop tea produced from a tea kettle connected to a UPS, to ensure uninterruptable tea supply. We had a small discussion on java application servers and jboss. Soon discussion moved into practical wifi demo. Viksit flashed his ipaq with linux running and he tried conneting to Raj's machine. David showed a home made direction antenna for wifi communication. Antenna was made out of a beer can and looked promising piece of hardware. Viksit and David played with wifi for a while and Raj tried to get wifi working on his machine. But his wifi card from TexasIntrument was not working properly. With the rounds of tea discussion moved to a proposed event by ilugd in september. We discussed about the structure and cordination a bit and decided to discuss the the topic further during some other discussion. Well it was 8pm and we decided to move to our homes. David bought 4 t-shirts and we gave one t-shirt to him as a souvenir from ilugd.
