I also have this problem previously, but now it solved. You can explicitly set
hardware time (RTC) using hwclock utility in Linux. See its man page. And make
sure before setting hardware clock time, your timezone is correct.

I face a problem that whenever i correct the time on one OS, the time on the
other OS gets disturbed.
The same problem is also faced by my friends in the hostel.

just check is you have not enable gmt based time on you linux side of
things. check if by any chance you have enabled UTC in your clock
preferences.
