Of the five guys who appeared for the test that day, three got eliminated in the first round itself I think. The test is easy or tough based on how much actual hands on work that you have done in the areas covered. My acchilles heel was NIS. I also hadn't worked on autofs before .. but five minutes through the man pages told me what I needed to know ;) and yes, you have full access to system documentation in the exam. So you should aslo get used to using it. Some part of teh test could be called tough - the troubleshooting part. However, the installation part could also be termed tough - because you are asked to do too many things to install correctly within 2.5 hours. Bottomline .. take a look at the topics mentioned at the RHCE site at Red Hat web site.
