Hi Subodh... Perhaps if i'm correct, cygwin is a Linux shell for Windoooz. Well, See that no firewall is being active at the time when u r connecting. Or if it is, it is allowing u to let ur connection pass. Windowz has a lot of firewall stuff pre-configured if u'r running XP & likes
