Syllable Desktop is a complete desktop operating system that is exceptionally powerful, fast, and easy to use. It has its own kernel, file system, graphical user interface, and applications. Syllable Desktop is based on AtheOS, is largely POSIX.1 compliant, and uses many of the GNU utilities. Syllable Server is a server operating system built to be similar to Syllable Desktop, but on the Linux kernel.
