I was looking for an RPM for Kerberos-1.4.1 based on MIT sources. The only I
found was at
ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.4/BIN/ix86-fedora3/kerberos-1.4.1-2.4.0.ix86-fedora3-openpkg.rpm

While I do a rpm -ivh it gives a dependency error for openpkg and fsl. While
installing openpkg it says it is for ix86 architecture while I am on Intel
p-iii. whats the problem?? I can'nt understand the intro at openpkg.org

This is the bootstrap package for the RPM-based Unix Software
Package Hierarchy OpenPKG. The RedHat Package Manager (RPM) is a
sophisticated and portable package manager for Unix platforms,
which supports automated building, installation, management and
deinstallation of Unix software. RPM was originally designed and
implemented for the RedHat Linux operating system where it manages
every file on the whole system. OpenPKG uses RPM only for managing
the files in a particular filesystem hierarchy dedicated to the
installation of third-party software packages provided by the
    OpenPKG project.

Kindly explain in more simpler words!!
