Try clicking on the apple in the right corner. My sister still has my G3 so I do'nt remember the file names, you might be able to restart the computer by selecting OS9.1 as the start up disk and see if the FD appears then. I know I had problems with OS9 Environment when I had the 9.2.2 upgrade i

I don't know about the other questions, but the hard drive icon being moved is no big deal, that happens when I plug my flash drive into my OSX 10.4 Powerbook G4. And, flash drives and jump drives are the same thing, so call it what you like. I personally use both, just whatever I feel like. --~--

I just got a 4 GB thumb drive (is this the same thing as a jump drive?). The package says it works with Mac OS 9.1.x+ and OS X. I got it to transport files between my trusty Dalmation and the "new" FlowerPower I just bought. The Dalmation has OS 9.2.2 on it and the Flower Power has 10.4 The thumb

Hi Wilton. I suspect you mean firewire ports. I have used a firewire hub but was not that happy with it. It seemed to cause some confusion on the firewire bus. Mine was inexpensive. Your mileage may vary with other hubs. An easier solution might be to daisy chain the drives. If your dri
