There are other BOINC projects that still run on PPC OS X, but the list is getting shorter all the time... I myself have been a cruncher since the days of SETI classic, but don't do much work for that project anymore. I would encourage anyone and everyone to find a project that they're interested in, the untapped power of idle personal computers is quite vast and there are plenty of groups who would be happy to have your help.
