Well selecting, sizing, cropping and layer merge is what the OP was asking about. I know GIMP will do it and in a non - rocket science way. And it is free. I am also sure GIMP would batch process camp badges too. And the GIMP folks have been laboring for the WWW for a long time ( serving the world) and could use donation money. Adobe haters should be suporting them if no one else.
