My brother-in-law accomplished a similar repair several years ago. He had an iPod with an ailing drive and a failing battery. I provided the new drive from a stash I bought from W00t! I’m pretty sure that he, or one of my nephews, still uses that iPod today. Sent from my Apple iPhone  > On
